The Silence is a gamming guild active in Bioware’s Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) game, Star Wars: The Old Republic, We are a PVP, PVE, End game focused guild with a core set of members activity involved in Ranked PVP.
You are welocme to come and relax on our team speak server, But be warned, many that come as guests, leave as family.
How did it start?
A close group of friends, who had been gaming for 6 years in other MMO’s such as WoW, Rift and Eve online, decided to give the next big thing a chance. Changing game was not easy decision, the time and effort needed to excel in any MMO is great, The Core members and founders decided to give it a try.
With 4 new characters, levelled up to 10, it was time to try the first Flash Point, Black Tallon.. Using skills learned from 6 years playing together the new born team hurled lighting, cast spells and trashed the Jedi in a glorious battle of key bashing and insults. At the end of the Flash Point the Team Speak Channel fell quiet…. Silence Fell… A Core and founding member saw fit to break this silence by quoting from a Doctor Who eposid, "you should kill us all on sight,". A Mad dash followed back through the corridors of the Imperial Fleet to the guild vendor. On Saturday 7th January 2012, the founding members, Boann, Cerberus, RiverFox and Invanov registered Our Guild and The Silence was born…

To help out your guildies and team – This is what makes The Silence different to all other guilds. We activity help our guild members, Our guild is only as strong as our weakest member.. Quests, Gearing, Advice, Tanking, Flash Points, Ops, Crafting companion gifts… If you are a member of the silence and you ask for help… You get it. No questions asked…. A fact we in The Silence are very proud of…

Tanks are not born great, they are made great by the team. Same for healers.. Bashing our Edge players is a no go… This is a team… and last time I checked, There is no “I” in team.
The Silence
Guild Member Ranks
1.Guild Leader = NONE we are all equal and each member has an equal say.
2.Raid Commander = These are the people who help organise "Raids" and "Events" for the Guild. So be kind to them, as they give up their time to do this for all of us.
3.Activist = These are the core members who "Raid" at end game and take part in guild events including PVP, PVE and RP> Each member has 1 vote to drive our guild. All Activists have access to our guild bank for Repairs and Equipments, stims and Med Packs.
4.Shadow = Casual and Social members who like to simply kick back and enjoy leveling in a friendly guild.
Special Rank: Mother = We have one Special Rank within the guild, she is the oldest and wisest and her word is final. If you are lucky enough to catch her online, She is the oldest Sith in the know galaxy, an Ancient, who sleeps through time. She is the Guilds (NPC) that gives birth to The Silence’s Role-Play plots.
In Star Wars: The Old Republic The Silence Role-plays on The Ebon Hawk (East Coast) server, this is a Role-Play (RP) rule based server and our Games Master is Cerberus (Guild leader and Founding Member).
Special Rank: Craft Master = We have a number of very highly skilled crafter within our guild who can help get you gear, armor, wepons ect, ect. Simply pop them a simple message with your needs. These people give up their time to help all guild members regardless of rank so once again, be kind.
Flashpoints, Operations and Missions
We have Dedicated Raid Member’s, Social members, PVP and Role-Players. So we’re up for everything this game has to offer, Heroic Missions, Flashpoints and Operations. The Silence has two factions, Both Imperal and Republic.
Gearing and Ability
Again our Dedicated Raiding members are geared to 72, However because we have Social and Role-Players, some people are happy to mull around looking pretty. We don't force gear restrictions, nor are we elite snobs who will shun less experienced players, We all had to learn.
In Closing
If you think The Silence is for you, join up are better still, get in game and come meet us, We are a friendly and fun loving group of characters.. But…. be warned, “Silence will fall… you should kill us all on sight,”
